Dr. Tami Matheson

Veterinarian

I graduated in 1987 from Ontario Veterinary College and joined Mayfield Veterinary Clinic in 1987. My special interest is in surgery and orthopedics. What I love most about my job is the ability to improve the lives of the pets, and keep them with their "people" longer. My favourite thing about the clinic is the variety of people and pets and their unique stories.

Fun fact about me is that I like to spend time at the "camp," gardening, fishing, four-wheeling and kayaking. In the winter, I like to spend my time by a fireplace, knitting socks, cooking cheesecakes, playing hockey, or travelling to warmer climates. Also, my first pet was Buckeye, the horse.

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 4, 2020 the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.

1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
