Dr. Aoife Hand

Veterinarian
I have always had a love for animals and nature and have wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I graduated in 2018 from University College Dublin. I began working in Mayfield Veterinary Clinic in August 2018. I have a keen interest in animal welfare and behaviour, wildlife medicine, surgery and wound management. I hope to develop my knowledge in all of the veterinary fields in the coming years. My first pet was Barney, a mixed breed dog. A fun fact about me is that I am fluent in the Irish language (Gaelic).
