Dog Orthopedics

Orthopedics refers to surgery related to the bones or musculoskeletal system of the dog. It may involve repair of a fracture ( broken bone), correction of a congenital or birth defect (such as luxating patellas) or repair of the structures associated with the skeleton ( such as ligament repairs in the knee- cruciate surgery). It often involves extended and specialized surgical procedures requiring extra surgeons, pain control and post operative management.
